This training course is intended to provide the information, orientation and testing required for the safe operation of Powered Industrial Trucks. Certification is complete only after the employee has received instruction on specific work place hazards, practical demonstration of the specific type of powered industrial truck they will operate, and an evaluation of the operator from their employer. This course was developed from the OSHA standard for forklift safety, 29 CFR 1910.178.
